Smarties Private Tutoring is a comprehensive English and Maths tutoring service for primary school children, focusing on the learning needs of the individual student. Founder Gilly Lynch, an educational therapist trained through the Orton-Gillingham Academy in Language and Maths, supports students with dyslexia and dyscalculia. She is a registered tutor for SPELD NSW, a registered member of the Australian Tutoring Association and the Australian Dyslexia Association.

Smarties Private Tutoring designs personal programs for individual students based on existing knowledge and learning goals. Sessions are imaginative, engaging and sequential and use a range of multisensory strategies and resources. Whilst the Orton-Gillingham approach was originally designed for students with dyslexia, the approach can successfully be suited to any students with literacy or mathematical difficulties.
