What is Dyslexia?
Dyslexia means ‘difficulty with words’ and is a specific learning difficulty leading to problems with certain skills used for reading, spelling and writing. It can also affect information processing, working memory and organisational skills.
Students with dyslexia often receive the same classroom instruction as other students but continue to struggle with some or all of the facets of reading and spelling.
